Obviously the whole top part of the shopfront has been boarded up, except for the Clarkson name, and it was a furniture shop a few years ago when I took this photo.
I hope it is still there and I'd love to know what is under that boarding.

Love seeing all of these building! Long live Art Deco! Washington dc has a large number of art deco buildings surprisingly -mainly office towers and apt. buildings (which sadly keep getting 'updated' or torn down!) I need to photograph more of them to share!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I haven't made it to Washington DC yet but I know the Art Deco group there hosted a pre-World Congress event there prior to New York in 2005 and the people who went said the deco was great.
